While flash cropping is still not working correctly in the new boxee versions, we have switched the live stream over to ustream. So this should be more watchable for you guys and hopefully hold you over until we correct this issue.

Yes, it is….and it will be available today. Who knows, it might even show up at some big event…

Ok so let me lay this out for everyone. Currently we only have 2 developers, 2 linux workstations and 2 windows workstations. We have no way currently to develop and/or test boxee test releases for the mac. We are working on changing this.

As much as we would like to release an app a week its not really feasible. Both of us work full-time and have to fight for boxeehq time. Between family, late nights and early mornings at work, we are doing everything we can to get PBS among other apps ready for the 24th.

This is not a dying project by any means. We are working on adjusting our schedules to allow more time for boxeehq. So bear with us through this rough period. PBS will come, GT 2.0 will come, ITunes Podcast Directory app will come, and yes, TWiT video WILL get fixed for you mac users!

  • we want to help build the community. boxee users should have a place to post their own work, such as custom skins, plug-ins, applications, backgrounds and anything else.
• looking at the hundreds of suggestions to start work on our next boxee application.

now here is the question of the day. some boxee apps use the generic skin, some have a custom skin. does this matter to any of you? is a custom app skin really that important? we want to know!
